The Smart Way of the Transportation Academic Award

Ezgi Tetik Sağlam's master's thesis received the award.

Ezgi Tetik Sağlam, Computer Engineering MSc Student, received the 5th AUS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) The Smart Way of the Transportation Academic Award for her master thesis titled "Geoakom: A Smart Geocasting Protocol for Vehicular Networks" developed under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sema Oktuğ.

We congratulate our student Ezgi Tetik Sağlam, her supervisor Prof. Dr. Sema Oktuğ, our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Yaslan for his contribution to the study, and thank Abidos Bilişim Teknolojileri Inc. for providing data to the study.

Computer engineering education in Istanbul Technical University started in 1980 as a program under the Department of Control and Computer Engineering Department. In order to keep up with the contemporary developments, Computer Engineering was reshaped as a separate department under the same faculty. All related programs and departments were transferred to the new Faculty of Computer and Informatics Engineering in 2010.
