Interfaculty Student Volleyball Tournament

To the attention of the students of our faculty.

Physical Education Department organizes the "ITU Interfaculty Student Volleyball Tournament" as part of the 250th Anniversary Sports Events. Undergraduate students (including those studying in the preparatory class) can participate in this tournament, which will take place between April 04 and May 16, 2022. Since the organization is mostly made up of amateur players, anyone who is familiar with the FIVB rules can apply.

General information about the tournament is as follows:

  • Matches will be held at ITU Ayazaga Campus/Central Sports Hall (Merkez Spor Salonu).

  • Undergraduate Students at ITU can participate in the tournament (Preparatory class students can take part in their faculties).

  • The tournament will be raced separately for men and women at the same time.

  • Each faculty will be accepted to participate in the competition with 1 Women's Team and 1 Men's Team.

  • Each team must consist of at least 6 players.

  • Teams can consist of a maximum of 14 people, including 2 Liberos.

  • FIVB game rules apply.

Computer engineering education in Istanbul Technical University started in 1980 as a program under the Department of Control and Computer Engineering Department. In order to keep up with the contemporary developments, Computer Engineering was reshaped as a separate department under the same faculty. All related programs and departments were transferred to the new Faculty of Computer and Informatics Engineering in 2010.
