First Software Developers' Gathering Symposium
The inaugural "Software Developers' Gathering Symposium" was held at our faculty on October 17-18, 2024, featuring opening speeches by our esteemed Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, former Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroğlu, and Dean Prof. Dr. Abdül Halim Zaim. The event brought together representatives from both academia and the private sector in the field.
9th International Conference on Computer Science and Engineering (UBMK 2024)
Many faculty members, research assistants, and students from our faculty participated in UBMK 2024. Prof. Dr. Gülşen Eryiğit, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering, delivered a keynote speech on large language models. Prof. Dr. Nizamettin Aydın, as the President of IEEE Turkey, presented an overview of the organization’s activities.
Additionally, our faculty members, Prof. Dr. Şule Öğüdücü and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faik Boray Tek, along with numerous research assistants and students, proudly represented our faculty at the event.
