RIPE (European IP Networks) is hosted by Istanbul Technical University Computer Engineering Department for a talk on IP networks. Dr. M. Tahir Sandıkkaya will moderate the talk that the invited speakers will share their experiences and information on the following topics;
 - Intro: about RIPE NCC
 - Current state of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses
 - Lockdown effects on Internet traffic
 - Internet measurements: what you can do with RIPE Atlas
 - Security: RPKI, DNSSEC

Computer engineering education in Istanbul Technical University started in 1980 as a program under the Department of Control and Computer Engineering Department. In order to keep up with the contemporary developments, Computer Engineering was reshaped as a separate department under the same faculty. All related programs and departments were transferred to the new Faculty of Computer and Informatics Engineering in 2010.
