Short Bio
Dr. Utku Diril received his Bachelor’s degree from METU in 2000. He completed his PhD at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005 on low power and reliable logic design. He spent most of his career on GPU design and architecture at NVIDIA, Vivante, and Apple. Dr. Diril led the architecture and design teams at Facebook to design the first ML chip developed by Facebook. He recently joined a stealth mode startup company to work on RISCV based high performance CPUs and accelerators.
